I envy you! The cardigan I am knitting for my daughter is far from being finished, the fine coton is a challenge for me to knit. I am so slow!
I like your close up, it talks to my heart as I like yarn and fabric crafts
@corinnec Thank you. Cotton is hard to knit with. It either drags on the needles or it slides too easily. No stretch, so hard on the hands too. Good luck. Knitting is the hobby I enjoy the most. I want to finish this sweater before the end of October. @grammyn Over a month. I spend a lot of time knitting instead of doing the things I should be doing. Cuts into my photography time too. Thanks Katy.
@will_wooderson Thanks Will @julie Appreciate that Julie. @wakelys Thanks Sue. @pyrrhula Thank you for saying so Ferry. @jeanniec57 Thank you very much. I tend not to set up my photos well at times and was glad this one turned out ok. @grammyn When I work on a big project I always want to start something else. So because I'm anticipating the next one, it does seem like a long time. @joemuli You flatter me Joey but thank you. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian. @potsbypam Thank you Pam. @shutterbug49 Thanks Debbie. I've noticed in other photos the tools help tell the story. @jamibann Thank you Issi. @kjarn The loopy, fuzzy boucle yarn is difficult to work with sometimes. The needle gets caught in the fibers and the loops can get caught and make the tension looser than planned at times. It's very soft though and the sweater will be fun to wear for my friend. @pusspup I hope so. Maybe I'll get her to model it and post a photo. Thank you Wylie.
@tunia This is the part I don't like Tunia. Often people knit sweaters on circular needles so they don't have to do so much hand seaming. Just seemed like a good time to do it. @jb030958 Not getting back to it as quickly as I'd hoped. Life gets in the way and "life" right now is not a bad thing. Hopefully it will be done before the end of the week. Thanks Jennie. @craftymeg You're right Margaret. Especially when it's just the right weight. @olivetreeann Thank you so much Ann. I do hope she'll enjoy wearing it. She likes it so far. I made her try it on basted together to ensure it fit ok. @haskar Thank you Hannah.
