Get Pushed Challenge 494
My get pushed partner challenged me to use the rule of odds in a composition. Not a particularly difficult challenge until I set about trying to find a worthy subject. I thought the sunflower heads would be great but...
@aecasey I hope this is ok. I wasn't sure whether or not to put another pin on the counter but had seen some examples with odd number of total subjects. Thank you. I enjoyed thinking about this researching it and then finding the right subjects.
An interesting subject and choice for the challenge. My eye keeps getting drawn to the edge of the vanity on the right, I wonder if cropping it off would direct the eyes to the subject more
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Different huh. The things I see sitting on the toilet. @wakelys Thanks. I was proud at how clean my countertop seemed to be. @grammyn Thanks Katy. I liked your subject too. Glad I could be of help. @s4sayer 😆 How many did you get? @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. @kjarn Thanks for the feedback Kathy. Interesting you should mention that. I tried to take it out, but didn't like it myself so put it back in even more than the initial crop. Each to his/her own I guess. I think for me the red comb handle brought my eyes back in. @thewatersphotos Thanks Gary. The reflections were a happy accident. @francoise Thank you Francoise. Couldn't really get it out of the photo and in the end I was OK with it too. @shutterbug49 Thanks on both counts Debbie. @pusspup I guess I had heard of it before but I've never purposely used it for composition. I remember someone told me to use it for flower arrangements. Mine aren't so good, but probably better for using that tool. @craftymeg Thank you Meg. @joemuli Thank you Joey.
