I usually see a lot of cardinals but come to think of it not so much this year. They are such beautiful birds and you captured this little guy nicely.

Sorry for the mass response. I do appreciate everyone's comments. we eventually got between 6-8 inches and during the day had snow, sleet, frozen mist and more snow. I made sure the feeders were full and so the birds appreciated that. I must have had 6-8 cardinals, males and females, in the garden taking turns at the feeder.
