It's amazing how long poinsettias last for.
A super shot with perfect DoF.

Still looks healthy. I think you will have it at least through Valentine’s Day.

@grammyn Thank you so much Katy. I was afraid it was too offset to but didn't want a distracting background. I liked all the colors in it as well as the light. I think they are what caught my attention first.
@serendypyty It's beginning to lose leaves. I usually underwater my pointsettias but I tried a technique a friend of mine uses for other plants. I put the plant in a bowl of water and let it soak up what it will.
@wakelys Thanks Sue. Time will tell if it will live until next Christmas. Seems I always try.
@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. Indirect light from the window. I liked how the topmost leaves looked in that light.
@kjarn Thank you Kathy.
@cdcook48 Thank you Chris. They do fade after awhile. The only leaves are green...until early winter .
@shutterbug49 Thank you Debbie.
@thewatersphotos It is a wonderful color. Thanks Gary.
@pusspup It's beginning to fade now. Dead leaves on the table top. @farmreporter Thank you Wendy. I will probably try to over summer it and see if I can get it to turn red again in the early winter. I rarely succeed, but keep trying.
@jb030958 Thank you Jennie.
@taffy Thank you Taffy. I like the texture and pattern on the leaves. It's really a little lower POV than I had planned.
@craftymeg Thank you Meg.
