Coffee and needlework

The library sponsored needlework group met at a great place this morning. Little Guatemala - with in place roasted coffee, Guatemalan pastries and other assorted beverages and food as made in Guatemala. They have a huge covered porch with upholstered furniture and tables. We've been meeting here once or twice a month since many of the restrictions have been lifted.
That looks like a wonderful place to meet. Our needlework club just meet in the library.

Looks like a beautiful setting for a chance to get together and socialize over a common interest. I like how your photo shows them at work

@shutterbug49 The group used to meet at two libraries - 1st and 3rd Wednesday at one and 2nd and 4th Friday at the other. Renovations at one saw us move to a bakery for awhile and we decided to keep meeting there. Then COViD hit. We zoomed for awhile, but it wasn't a popular way to meet. When restrictions lightened up a bit, but we still weren't allowed to meet at the libraries, we found other ways to meet. This is one of the better places.
@bkbinthecity The coffee's better than the pastries. The meals they now have are tasty. I've eaten there just for a meal and a chat with a friend once.
@joemuli It's really tasty coffee. I look forward to going and have bought beans by the pound to bring home. No beans the last two times I have been there though. I think the business is doing well and taking coffee to events, so they must be using the coffee beans up.
@kjarn It's very nice especially since it's outdoors. When it got cold last year we met ini a soccer practice room. they sponsor kids' soccer.
@jamibann It's very nice, inside and out and the staff are so friendly.
@wakelys It's great. I've met with friends 1:1, small group and then this group. We are often twice as many.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond They do serve tea, but a bag in a cup. It's primarily a coffee shop.
@pusspup It's great.
@haskar Yes. It opened just before COVID hit so I'm glad they 'weathered the storm.'
@jb030958 It is nice Jennie.
@grammyn Thank you Katy. It's a nice place. Most of us were knitting but there was one lady who beads and the library staff member works while we chat, occasionally joining in.
@granagringa Thank you.
@craftymeg Thanks. A good group and a good place.
@fbailey It is fun.

@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry.
@olivetreeann The furniture is cool. They used some old coffee sacks to upholster the backs of the sofas.
