Gifts to keep me busy in the new year

My friends want me to read and garden. Guess I'll have the right clothing to use in the future for that task. And something to keep me occupied until then.
Nice gifts! Good friends!

Those are some great looking gloves and interesting looking books to read! I like the composition of the photo Kathy.

@olivetreeann Yup, I sure do. thanks Ann.
@grammyn Thanks Katy. I have holes in the finger of the work gloves I have, although the rubberized ones I have are still good. But if and when or should I say when and if I get to working on the gardens, I will need them.

Look like very nice gloves for gardening dry or wet. I love those two hobbies (after photography of course).

@shutterbug49 Well, gardening runs a fourth because along with reading, photography, I'd add knitting. Thanks Debbie. I really don't like gardening. I like the flowers.
@joemuli Thanks Joey.

I loved the book about Sam Hell! Haven't read the Jeffrey Archer one. I have similar gardening gloves. Nice capture of your gifts.

Great gifts. At least you have something to read whilst contemplating the gardening.

@corinnec We do have common interests. I think it's wonderful to find "soul sisters and brothers" in our lives.
@kwind I hope your's are as pretty and hopefully practical as mine.
@kjarn I hope to Kathy.
@pusspup Since I no longer have family close by it's good to have friends.
@jamibann Thank you Issi. I think I've read Jeffery Archer before and enjoyed the book. The premise of the other book looks interesting and the giver assured me that she enjoyed it and recommended it.
@mirroroflife Good friends and good gifts. I hadn't noticed the titles in that way. You're a hoot Pete!
@wakelys I think I'll read out in the sunroom where I can see how much work the garden needs. Maybe it will inspire me. @casablanca Thank you. I didn't want to put the Christmas away just yet. I'm still savoring it all. That was a funny comment.
@rensala I agree with you Renee. I'm blessed with the first two. Thank you for your kind words.

Looks like a couple of good reads. I have just looked up 'The extraordinary life of Sam Hell' and I know Jeffrey Archer is a fantastic author.

@summerfield Don't know if it's a new one or older. My friend deals with a lot of used books.
@dkbarnett I hope so. I need to read more, but with photography and knitting, and other extracurricular activities most of the reading is done when I go to bed. So you can guess how much I get read.
