Gardening time is coming

Looks like you are getting ready. I like the setup.

@shutterbug49 A piece of junk lying around near the rhododendrons I'm afraid. Not worth buying another handle for it. I just liked it and thought "you know, this could probably add some interest to a photo one day." So I left it where it was and it finally paid off. Thanks Debbie.

I love how you composed this one. Terrific diagonal of the bricks and nice textures and rust on the “piece of junk”

I like how the earthy tones of the bricks and the tines contrast with the green of the leaves

A nice composition

Love the contrast- softness of nature and the solid bricks and hard rustic claws❤️👌

What an optimistic scene!

Nice pov, looks like a hand reaching out for that soil to dig in.

Yes, I was doing a bit of pottering yesterday, as the snow has gone and the weather is much milder. It was almost springlike yesterday! Raining today though. Your tool does look like a hand!

Very nice composition and a useful tool.

Those brief periods between too hot and too cold for gardening!

@grammyn Thank you for the specific feedback related to the composition. Essentially it was dumb luck rather than thoughtful preparation.

@joemuli I appreciate the feedback. Helps me to think more about what I am seeing.

@franbalsera Some people find gardening relaxing but I hate it. However, that said, I do find I can be in the moment and that in itself is relaxing. Thank you for your comments Fran.
@pyrrhula It's really a bit early here too. I guess it's because I stare at these things that I think of all that needs to be done. Thanks Ferry.
@olivetreeann Actually here too Ann. Thank you.
@haskar Thank you Hannah. I wish that I could snap my fingers and it would be done.
January 28th, 2023
I love houses with a garden because I live in a block of flats but I think I would be lazy with the garden.
January 30th, 2023
Well spotted. Great shot.
January 31st, 2023
@johnfalconer Thank you John.
@franbalsera Gardens can be a lot of hard work and hot, because of course, it's hot outside.
