I, once upon a time, canoed with my husband and several others and took out here in the dark. Unfortunately our poor skills resulting in us turning over several times and delaying the whole trip. No surprise, they never asked us again to join them. @onewing Isn't it amazing they can last there. @mcsiegle Thank you Mary. There are several points along this river that a person can reach without need of a boat and there are trees like that in all of them. @shutterbug49 Thanks very much Debbie. @franbalsera Thank you Fran. Private land, often farms, line the river and it actually is not accessible in many places to the general public. @pusspup Thank you Wylie. @casablanca Thank you. Not far from civilization really. A couple miles from town. @tunia Yes, I'm ready for some color too, but this time of year, the b&w probably makes many landscapes look about as good as they can. Not much green here yet.
@haskar@srinathvathsa Thank you. There are a number of places on the river that one can reach without owning the land or having a boat. They often have beautiful views like this.
