Portrait of my left eye...

From the ophthalmologists point of view.
Laser on left eye to remove lens sleeve that was causing cloudy vision. I saw colorful circles and washes of color and how I'd love to have a photo of that. Obviously she wasn't seeing the same thing. (BTW the red spots are lights.)
How interesting

@Dawn @corinnec thanks ladies. Hopefully not too gruesome. All went well & the world is again colorful and sharp.

My opthalmologist didn’t give me a picture….maybe I should have asked. Hope that procedure did what you needed.
March 14th, 2023
I trust the procedure went well

The wonders of modern eyecare! I go once a year and get to see a pitt (unusual recess) at the back of my left eye each time.

@grammyn You're right Katy, it does look like a ring. I'm seeing all the wrinkles in my face and the different grays in my hair all too clearly now. Everything looks like an HD photo with the eye. Thank you for asking.
@olivetreeann Ann, she did. I'm not sure how. I was looking into the machine so couldn't see anything else. As the song goes, "I can see clearly now" with that eye anyway. Well see in two weeks how the other one will be.
@digitalrn It is amazing Rick. The procedure took less that 5 minutes and I was home. No pain, no incision, no bleeding. Yeah!
@shutterbug49 I didn't ask, just mentioned that what I saw (and it wasn't this) would make a cool photo. When she offered, I accepted. A bit disappointed though. Not anything like I was seeing. The procedure went quickly and easily with no after effects except everything looks like a HD photo out of that eye. So clear and sharp.
@bkbinthecity Thank you for asking Brian. All went well.
@kjarn Thanks Kathy. It's amazing technology.
@jamibann Thanks Issi. Everything is good.
@wakelys Thank you Sue.
@photographycrazy Thanks Bill.
@tunia Who knew, right?! Thank you Tunia.
@craftymeg Thank you Meg. So far so good.
@will_wooderson It is amazing. Does this pitt interfere with your vision? Hope it doesn't get worse, but good that you're keeping up with it regularly.

Great that everything is fine now. Before I read the information, I thought it was your car's headlight.
March 14th, 2023
First I was thinking: A nice ring with a beautiful ruby stone. Glad everything turns out for the best.
March 14th, 2023
@haskar My body's headlight. Fun. Thank you Hannah.
@pyrrhula A man's ring at that. Thank you Ferry.

Tom
A very cool and unique capture
March 17th, 2023
@tosee Haha! It wasn't what I was seeing, and I didn't think it was all that great. But it's certainly unique. I thank my ophthalmologist. And you as well.
