Sandbagging

Today the rough seas flattened out after a couple days of high tides and hurricane action off the coast of Mexico that wrecked havoc in my little beach town. The water has receded but sandbags are still piled high in many places along the boardwalk.

Love the note on the sandbags! Is the city supposed to remove them, or is that just a little note to self to take sandbags down so that the gate is accessible?! Our rough weather does not last long, does it?!

@panthora I do think the city will pick up the bags next week. Yeah, heavy waves only lasted about 24 hours. Today the water was relatively calm.
