Zazu was the feisty, animated red-billed hornbill in the movie Lion King. His character was based on the hornbills we saw everywhere- in the bush, the trees, even on our picnic table in Kruger National
Park. Three bold birds perched at the end of our wooden table, waiting for the leftovers. I read that they eat insects, fruit and seeds so I was surprised that they went after the sausages left in the skillet on the grill!
