In a great example of adaptive reuse, the former San Diego Bank & Trust building, built in 1928, now houses a chic hotel with this magnificent painted coffered ceiling and vintage chandeliers. We stayed here for a work conference over the weekend and enjoyed the beautiful architectural details of the historic place.
Fabulous craftsmanship on that gorgeous ceiling as well as the columns. That place is spectacular, and your capture shows it wonderfully. Must be a wonderful hotel; it reminds me of the Biltmore Hotel here in Miami, with very similar design.
