What I love about the sunsets farther south on the West Coast is that the sun drops right into the ocean on a west-facing beach. I was at a dinner party last night and could tell it was going to be a great sunset but I I was stuck on a roof deck with a huge parking lot between me and the beach. It was a long shot with hundreds of cars in the foreground so I did my best to crop out the cars and preserve the sun drop.
