Today I was still thinking about my National Parks tour so I'll continue to revisit Yellowstone for a couple days. Of the more than 300 geysers in the park, Old Faithful is the most famous but Riverside Geyser is definitely my personal favorite. It shoots about 75 feet in the air and the eruption lasts about 30 minutes.Then you have to wait 5-7 hours for the next one. I found the many mud pots, hot springs and geysers mesmerizing to watch and challenging to photograph, especially because there are hundreds of people crowding around, doing the exact same thing.
My long term plan is to sell off all my possessions, buy a motor home and spend my days travelling and photographing every national park. Brilliant capture! FAV
Great shot of it. We are going to Glacier in a couple weeks. We had planned on Yellowstone, but plans changed so we are heading more north...we may pick up Yellowstone on the way back if we have time. This shot makes me want to go for sure. Lovely.
