Vatican Gardens

View of St Peter's Basilica from the Vatican Gardens. Close to half of the Vatican City State is covered by an array of gardens created over the last eight centuries. There are 6,000 species of plants and trees from all over the world.
As our tour guide drove us at lightning speed through the garden, I attempted to get some shots. All my photos are from inside a small bus, through the windows. That was a challenge!
Beautiful!

Love the many fabulous gardens we've seen in Europe. This is one of them.

Well done -- doesn't look like a drive-by at all.
