Man in the Shadows II

Posted two versions of this shot,one in color and this in b & w. Which one do you like better?

i always like coloured photographs. however, the black and white always bring out the details and with the busy lines in this case, the eye is immediately directed to the silhouette. in the coloured version, the coloured tiles in the foreground distract from the silhouette. it is always nice to see the details in colour though. excellent shot and processing.

I am partial to B&W. The layers of detail is interesting in this capture.

The b&w gets my vote... I really like the reflections through the door way.

Not sure why, but I prefer the color version. Something about the tones in that particular shot.

Mmmm....this one is tough. I like the way the structures pop in b&w, but I also liked the subtle tones that come through in the color version. Maybe a compromise by desaturating the color version a bit?

I prefer this one as the figure on the right doesn,t draw the eye away from the man in the shadows as much as the colour version. fav
