Mountain Lake Loop

One of the most picturesque hikes in Moran State Park on Orcas Island in Puget Sound is the 5-mile trek around Mountain Lake. Or in our case, 6-1/2 miles because part of the trail was closed and we had to back track to get down the mountain to find our car. The scenery is so beautiful, we didn't mind the extra exercise.
