Following close behind the color parade through the narrow streets of Cusco. The women's shawls and skirts are typical of the dress in Peru. Each region has specific colors and patterns, many of which are hand embroidered by the village women themselves. Rounding out the bright color palette is my husband up ahead in the orange shirt.
@taffy Thanks Taffy! Most of the good shots from Peru were lost on the media card that went missing.Tough lesson to learn. Now I make sure to bring a backup drive for downloading during the trips.
Gorgeous bright colours, they just shout 'Peru', don't they. Shame about your missing card. I found one in an old handbag last week, it must have been a spare blank but I'll look just in case...!
