The bulbs are bursting at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in Washington State. We took a long weekend to come see the more than 150 varieties of flowers in their early bloom. This area produces the bulk of tulips grown in the U.S. The show gardens at RoozenGaard feature 1/2 million bulbs planted in gorgeous patterns and colors. I'll be posting more shots this week if the spotty internet cooperates.
I love your swirling tide. Wonder re cropping just a tiny bit off the top. My eye wanders out of the frame because of the distraction of the dark brush bottoms
