But this is not Colorado. We began this part of our journey in their Atacama Desert early in the morning, bumping along in the back of a bus toward lagoons in the high plateau of Northern Chile. At an elevation of 13,774 feet, Miscanti Lagoon, is a truly breathtaking sight. I’ve never seen such azure blue waters or skies.
Not sure how cold it was but I was wearing three jackets!
