A Stroll on the Pier

Fun facts about the Seal Beach Pier:
* second longest wooden pier in Calif. 1,835 ft.
* built in the early 1900s, re-built in 1930s and
again in the 80s due to storm damage. Partially
rebuilt and just re-opened in 2019 following a
restaurant fire 3 years earlier
* stands 15 feet above sea level
* great place to watch the seagulls, surfers and
on occasion, a seal or two

Almost looks like an early 1900's version in this shot! Great job! I recall the storm in the 80's. It did a number on the San Clemente pier too.
