In reviewing recent shots I found this close-up of the Great Blue Heron I've been observing in the wetlands for the past month or so. During this time when it seems the whole world is standing still, photographing these majestic birds has lifted my spirits and shown me that life is still moving forward. At least at the pace nature intends.
