After a day on the water to escape the sizzling temperatures, all the boats, big and small, converge at the mouth of the jetty to make their way back to the marina. There’s always a lot of maneuvering to avoid paddle boarders, jet skis, and kayakers.
Looks like they're returning from a Laser race. One of my favorite sailboats! I'm always kind of mesmerized watching the boaters negotiate each other through the jetty at Dana Point.
I remember the first time I sailed in Sydney Harbour on the first day of Spring many years ago - oh boy, there was so much coming at me! So I smiled when I saw this and remembered how much I had to maneuvre to avoid collision. Great sunny shot. Looks like they all had a good day on the water
