This is the view of the clear blue Colorado River from the rocky ledge in yesterday's post. This was the only time I've seen the blue waters here. Even in my Grand Canyon shots, the river water was running red and muddy from recent rains. It would have been fun to kayak if we had more time.
We went down the Colorado in an inflatable raft and looked up at the Horseshoe Bend cliffs from the river. Would have loved the opportunity to take in the view from on top also
