Into the Womb

Another view of my group navigating through the the Lower Antelope Canyons. The effect of the shafts of light illuminating the narrow orange and gold sandstone walls was quite surreal. One benefit of the current strict protocols is that groups are limited to a maximum of 6 with one Navajo guide, resulting in fewer people crowded into the narrow winding corridors. Best viewed on black.
So interesting how different the color is here

Another terrific shot. I'm not too sure if this is the same part of the canyon we visited but it was like being on a fast conveyor belt when we were there. Very disappointing from a photography point of view but still an excellent place to visit

@terryliv You’re right, it is a fast-paced tour, no tripods allowed, but the benefit of the current Covid restrictions is that groups are now limited to 6 with a guide so we didn’t have to cope with crowds.
