It was so peaceful in the village in the early morning. The sleeping cat looked well fed and didn’t stir as I walked past on my way to the coffee bar for a cappuccino and a biscotti.

@jacqbb I was in a tiny hill town about 100 k south of Rome called Castro dei Volsci. So many of the small towns throughout Italy have the seemingly endless cobblestone steps.
