We saw this pregnant male seahorse, about 4 inches long, at the Ocean Rider Seahorse Foundation in Kona. You can see his pouch is full. Male seahorses and sea dragons are the only known animals that get pregnant and give birth. How cool is that. The foundation’s mission is to save endangered seahorses from extinction through research, propagation and education.
