Inside the Kunsthaus

There are four buildings to the Kunsthaus. This extension, by architect David Chipperfield, opened in autumn 2021 which now makes it the largest museum in Switzerland. Its focus is on art of the 1960s and later, and the central entrance hall, a new form of public space in which to experience art. I loved the huge open space and especially the use of gold on all the massive doors and in the lifts.
It looks as magnificent as it sounds. Great shot and perspective.

Such a strange sterile architecture for an art museum. I think I've see something similar in Mumok Vienna - museum of modern art. I am not positive I like this approach in the given context. To me, it looks too industrial.

I love the tones! Really straight lines and angles.

Fabulous, I love the light reflected on the ground.

Impressive open area. The grout line in the tile is a good leading line.

I'm always interested in seeing places I may never have the opportunity to visit. You certainly captured the scale of this space, but I can nearly hear the echoes and sounds of footsteps channeled through the corridors!
