These beautiful decanters were sitting on my friend’s counter. I took a quick shot because there wasn’t time so haven’t really done them justice. Also I’m not sure what the difference is between a carafe and a decanter. I think the former has an open top and the latter a crystal ball.
Lovely shot. A decanter is used to store, aerate and serve wine and traditionally has a flat base and wide bowl. A carafe is a vessel to hold any sort of liquid, are more showy and decorative and have a longer body and smaller base
