Overripe Fruit Fans

Back in the Butterfly House, two more magnificent specimens, the Blue Clipper (left) and the Arcas Cattlehart (right). and featuring bananas and oranges which I never would have thought would be attractive to butterflies. London Zoo series
Neat shot! I used to to that in the summer. Got more wasps and bees than butterflies, but got a few. =)

Nicely captured! - I suppose the more ripe - the more sugar and sweetness!!

The butterflies have quite a feast here.

Hmm. I wonder if this would work at home in the garden in the summer when the butterflies are flitting around. Nice shot of how the butterflies are lighting on the fruit.

That Blue Clipper is something else - a real beauty. They probably like the juices of the fruit.
I’m going to put some overripe fruit outside and see if that will attract butterflies; I so rarely see them anymore.
