Clapper Bridge, Postbridge by rensala

Clapper Bridge, Postbridge

Postbridge is best known for the ancient clapper bridge believed to have been built in the 13th century to enable pack horses to cross the river, carrying tin to the stannary town of Tavistock, and later used by farmers to cross their sheep.
