Blue Remembered Hills by rexcomu

Blue Remembered Hills

Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

A.E. Housman

A bit serious for what was just a walk on a sunny day. Later that night we watched Grayson Perry's Art Club on Channel 4. It almost made me want to draw something other than my pension...
Beautiful photo! I like the poem too, I very much like A.E. Houseman, another interpretation of "you can't go home again".

Thank you.
These days it's more about not being able to leave home to get to the hills...
