Fourth of July by rhoing

Fourth of July

I have been saving this subject for this day. It just looks *so* "colonial" to me. Further, the shingles may be original to the period…
It is totally awesome, a beautiful home.

Beautiful brick house. I love the door.

@digitalrn Indeed! Don't know who lives there, but there was a good chance I was going to find a Ford F-150 with cami trim parked right in front! That would have "killed the moment"!

@angievega Indeed; me, too, Angie! (Update: 1 eggling going great!, 1 required the extra seeds but is starting to sprout! and 1 is, well, an egg full of dirt!)

@cohare Yes, indeed! You mean the framing rather than the door itself, right? The door is nice, but I love the 3D frame!

It does look colonial! The trees behind it are huge and look to have been there for a long time.

@rhoing yes- the frame. :)

@47thyear This is definitely an older part of town, so the trees are, uh, "mature." :)

@cohare Thought so! :)

Definitely looks colonial! Great with the flags out front too.

@exposure4u I wish the sky had turned out more blue, but what can you do SOOC? Thanks for stopping by, Wendy!
