The rose bush thinks it’s still September or October!
It was an eerie, foggy morning today. After my usual Saturday breakfast (with Bill, Chuck, Roland, Tim, Don and Gary) and picking up a prescription for the 12½-year cat, it was *still* foggy when I got home. Back out I went with camera in hand. I removed the UV filter for several and when I saw how cool the rose bush looked in back, I grabbed a close-up filter and made this image. Do the dew droplets give the bud a sort of “raspberry appearance”?
Cropped down for the close-up and name added are the only edits.

@digitalrn Hoping it stays warmish! I have a rowing shell in transit and I hope to row it a few times this season before the really icy weather arrives!
@sitiodown Thanks, Tari. It was the fogginess/humidity that really made this image!

@espyetta Thanks, MaryBeth! Yeah, I was concentrating on the water on the stem or stalk; the droplets on the spider spun lines were a bonus!
@tinatmmc Thank you, Tina. Focusing with close-up filters was easier in my younger days, but I still manage once in a while!
@bk12racing Thanks, Mike!
