I picked up this leaf and thought its “curl” and coloring were interesting. Initially I thought the top would be the better shot with its brilliant red, but the vein coloring and pattern on the bottom turned out to be more interesting.

This is the second and last improperly time-stamped image. It was actually taken an hour earlier as my camera was still on daylight savings time. Hey, Canon! With all the on-board electronics, how about an auto time correction? ;)

You have just made me realise that my camera is on the wrong time settings lol.. I was looking at my exif info earlier and I was puzzled, and now you have answered me.. Doh me, silly that I never thought of it lol... Gorgeous shot, i love the colour as well as the detail.. I think the angle that you have used really compliments the gorgeous detail and veins.
