Heading away from the sun

Had several "possibles" from today's Groundhog Day row with Roland. Got a nice shot of our two boats next to each other before we pushed away, a shot of Roland on the phone (for work) at our halfway point, this one and a couple shots of Roland across a glass-smooth lake with the late afternoon sun lighting up the browns and yellows of the trees into "gold". This one should be rotated a bit since it's not "straight"; it was hard to position the tip of the boat to point directly into the reflected sun and keep it there!

BTW, this *is* the color image; I grayscaled it and it didn't look much different!

That looks great Thom, and though it was probably cold, it was probably refreshing being out in the open air.

I'm glad you didn't rotate it - that would have thrown the focus of the tip of the boat off - it draws your eye right into the sunlight.

@digitalrn It was a very, very mild day. Air temp, 60ish. Water temp, 50ish at the surface. Delightful weather for an aerobic row!

@sparkleplenty1 Aww, thanks, Joyce!

@jessielouise Aww, thank you, JessieLou'! It was a difficult one to get even this close to what I wanted. While I had other images I could have posted, this one was the hardest to get, so it got the nod!

@Scrivna Photo doesn't load on this page on either my laptop or phone, although it does load to "Edit" this post.

@rhoing Yes, should be fixed now, this photo was some collateral damage
