Convex reflections

Today’s post had to be about rowing! I finished writing tomorrow’s final exam and I have the exams (since it’s an 8 a.m. exam). Roland and I were hoping to introduce some new folks to rowing, but that plan had to be scrapped. It’s too bad because the lake was g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s today: it was a sheet of glass! It made rowing in the “chop” yesterday and Tuesday quite worthwhile.

Back at our “boathouse,” a short drive from the lake, this is our Maas Aero on its rack (inverted). The barely-visible fin is evident as both a direct image and a reflected image. There is another boat on a higher rack and that would be Roland’s Maas double.

That is pretty cool Thom, but I am trying to figure out what it is

I'm with RIck - I know you've described what it is, but I'm trying to figure it out, too - must be the convex part that's messing with my brain! Glad you were able to get in a good row!
