I can’t help but think this looks like a snail with the relative lengths of the antennae and the way the head sticks out just a little from this perspective.

What pretty wings! I so get these confused with Red Admirals! I used to think they were ALL Painted Lady, as we raise those in the classroom, but now I think they are all Red Admirals...shoot! Very nice angle on this one!
