Lepidoptera world’s ‘clownfish’? by rhoing

Lepidoptera world’s ‘clownfish’?

It was a good day in the garden with a couple new “visitors” to identify.

Another was a delicate-looking “Green Lacewing,” http://bugguide.net/node/view/140

I found one of these little moths on the same plant both morning-and-afternoon. While butterflies and wasps seem to be too jittery to allow me to get close enough with a shorter lens, the moths are generally more tolerant. This was shot at 55mm with a “+4 close-up filter.”

Confirmed at BAMONA as Atteva aurea (family Yponomeutidae) or “Ailanthus Webworm Moth”; http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/sighting_details/729460
