Just a full-frame of a very large leaf in an outdoor garden adjacent to a greenhouse on campus. The garden has a butterfly bush, but they have same visitors we have at home and aren’t we all sick of Thom’s Buckeyes, Painted Ladies, fritillaries and swallowtails by now?
I like how evenly spaced are the whiter/lighter-green lines. But you could have guess that, right?

@ellen Less is indeed more sometimes. And yet when you think about what happens inside this "sheet," the conversion of sunlight to life and energy, it's not really so simple a subject! Simple photograph, but a complex aggregation of cells!
