This could go in the purple kitchen, Clare!

Datura metel “Cornucopaea” (family Solanaceae). In a garden on campus next to a row of greenhouses. Two or three times a week I can park strategically to pass by this garden. :)

I think this would be perfect in your purple kitchen, Thom! Love the raindrops on the flowers! Hope your first week back to school went well!

@sparkleplenty1 Thanks, Joyce!
This was *your* first week; it was our third! And, thankfully, we've had rain. And getting more right now as I type and lots o’ electricity customers are without power. We’re okay for now…

I must have been confused by the photo you posted a few days ago with your doctor friend - I remember you mentioning about butterflies in your stomach before starting a new semester. I guess I was thinking it was this week. I heard your part of the country got rain from Isaac - what a blessing to finally get some much needed water! Didn't hear about the loss of power.

@sparkleplenty1 Ah, right. That was January, 2001! The storm right now -- with some heavy wind -- has knocked out some power! We're still lit up. :)
