Passion flower II by rhoing

Passion flower II

I have previously posted a “passion flower” image — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2013-03-25 — but this is very different: Passiflora hybrida ‘Incense’, a cross between P. incarnata and P. cincinnata.

Species page at PhytoImages, http://phytoimages.siu.edu/cgi-bin/dol/dol_terminal.pl?taxon_name=Passiflora_hybrida&rank=binomial
One of the “parent” species (P. incarnata): http://phytoimages.siu.edu/cgi-bin/dol/dol_terminal.pl?taxon_name=Passiflora_incarnata&rank=binomial

One year ago — one of my favorite butterfly images; this image is now on the site of Butterflies and Moths of North America (“Spring azure”): http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-06-07
Two years ago (“Sunset after Rhoing”): http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-06-07
