A great friend from bad luck!

Our good friends Greg & Suzanne came for dinner this evening. I met Greg the day he performed my emergency appendectomy in 2001; details at http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-09-02
He has retired and we are now good friends. We get together monthly for dinner at each other’s houses. Since Clare has a “wing in a sling,” I cooked. Grilled “surf & turf”: “surf” for Suzanne and “turf” for Greg. I was a bit nervous to grill steak for guest(s), but with an electronic thermometer it worked out well. (Thanks, Tim F!)

Greg & I are about the same age and he’s preparing to run a marathon in December, so it’s still “See Greg run. Run, Greg, run!”
