Sunday morning surprise

Went out to my car to go to Mass and before I was more than 10 car-lengths away from the driveway, the tire light on the instrument panel lit and the steering felt odd. I got out and, sure enough, front passenger-side tire flat.

Clare and Mom took Clare’s car to Hilton Head … but Mom’s car was here, so that’s what got me to Mass. Late. :-\

Later I inflated it to see how long it would hold any drive-able pressure. I heard hissing and found the culprit: a screw or bolt with a sizable head. As it’s Sunday, a repair will have to wait until tomorrow.
