Into the light

I was walking to class and saw the light streaming through the trees onto this path through the campus woods. It wasn’t my intention to have the person in the shot, but I think it improves it. Just cropped a bit at the bottom and name added.

Note. Same part of the campus woods as http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-11-07

Very pretty lighting. I getting to think that you should always have people in landscape shots to give them context and scale :-)

@mike_todd Thanks very much, Mike! It was a rush job to be sure.

@tryingforsighs Except for grand, sweeping landscapes (think mountaintop vistas), I think you're right about having people in shots like this. Moving forward, I am going to try to keep that in mind! (Like your "id"!)

Thom, I would agree that the person walking toward you gives it a touch of extra life.
