Giving an exam and a quiz tomorrow, so today was hectic writing a quiz and a math exam. I photo’ed the recently-assembled IKEA chair in its place, but that’s our younger daughter’s former- and visiting-room and we want her to see it new and all-at-once when she visits for Christmas. So at 11:44 p.m., one gets what one can.

At least you get a shot a day. I can't even manage that. I have been at this since June 2011, and still haven't managed my 365 shot. :-(

@tsteall All I can say, Tammie, is that this post could be the poster-child for the lame, 23rd-hour posts one has to suffer through to maintain the photo-a-day discipline. My older daughter got me to sign up almost 3 years ago … and *her* last post was 2½ months after that! But I have to remember that I signed up to learn my new-at-the-time Canon T2i (now all beat up from 3+ years of loving abuse), and (1) I *have* learned a lot, (2) I think I've improved at composition as a photographer and (3) I'm having new fun with the macro lens I bought late last summer. So I guess one's *continued* participation should consider why one chose to participate in the beginning and ask if that's changed. In my case, I'm still learning and it's nearly as true now as it was on December 27, 2010, the date of my first post. About two months away from 3 years with one day genuinely missed…
