Lucerne Moth by rhoing

Lucerne Moth

Not many frames or subjects today. Clare & I are making ready for a contractor to deepen our garage, which clearly has *shrunk* over time. (It’s this low-quality lumber, I’m certain — I’m *sure* these 2×4s shrink over time…)

Anyway, this is a moth in our yard. It’s a species I have observed before, but haven’t posted to 365 yet. Not a very glamorous image to post, but it’s consistent with using 365 to document the 6- and 8-legged critters that visit our garden, our yard and our region.

Confirmed at BAMONA as “Nomophila nearctica” or “Lucerne moth”; http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/sighting_details/1002333
