Long shadows

I certainly notice shadows more now than “pre-365.” Our mantel is just out of this shot to the right and cast the triangular shadow at middle-right. The shadows are cast by two spotlights of track lighting that are fairly close to this wall, so the shadows are relatively long and the Santa sock would probably be impossible to identify from its shadow.

[An eleventh-hour shot, even though I had a shot of my most-recent construction project in the garage: hanging the extension ladder more flush against the ceiling (as opposed to hanging it “up-and-down” on hooks).]
