Lauren

Lauren is one of the servers at Harbaugh's, where I "breakfast" every Saturday morning with my [regular] Cursillo brothers. Lauren is mostly born-and-raised in Carbondale and possibly the same age as my older daughter. As with many of the servers at Harbaugh's, this is a second job. Her more-full-time job is managing an Asian restaurant in Carbondale where Clare & I try to go a few times each year. I hadn't made the connection, but after some thought I realized that the "café uniform" of jeans and a t-shirt had to give way to an Asian restaurant manager's long silk skirt and a more elegant top than "OK, but first coffee"! In either venue, however, what a wonderful smile, right?
