Pushing the boundary of ‘lame’ posts…

Was a "work-in" at the orthopaedic clinic today to see Roland's PA for the shoulder pain that was quite severe last week in Hilton Head Island. Strained rotator cuff. Sigh. The cortisone shot should provide some immediate relief. (First the stitches in the head, now this. I'm falling apart!)

The photo — I'm building myself a real work bench for the garage instead of the what-I've-been-using for more than a year. This is nothing more glamorous than a few pieces of plywood shot edge-on.

But interestingly, I have learned that Lowe's will make lumber cuts for 25¢ per cut. Not per foot. Per cut. So I get a 4×8' sheet of plywood cut twice for 50¢ and I have my work bench top, a lower shelf and I don't have to struggle with a hand saw or a sabre saw. Such a deal!
